"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I consider myself a pretty good "player" in the sense that women rarely get over on me. I can usually pick the right women and extract what I want from them. However, I'm not sure what to do with this one woman who recently rejected me.

First I'll admit I made a few beta male mistakes since I met her and I totally understand why I'm in the position I'm in. My question is wondering what to do about it.

Background:

I met her about 3 years ago and we hooked up at a party. After that we just remained friends (first mistake) because I was dating someone else and she was too. She tried to hook up with me again a few times and I turned her down (second mistake). Then we lost touch for a few months. She started ignoring calls and texts so I moved on. Then she finally contacted me only to start ignoring me again (putting up with this was mistake number three).

Finally I got back in touch with her because I decided I wanted to date her. I figured why not? We are both single and we already banged and we still get along well. But to my surprise she shoots me down with the whole "I want to be single right now" crap. I was like WTF? Plus, she took sex off the table. Its basically a friendzoning.

So now I'm not sure what to do with her. She seems to be playing some kind of passive-aggressive twisted game with me. She makes it seem like I have a chance, but she is being very mysterious about it.

At this point I still want to bang her again because she is amazing in bed. Not sure if I should wait her out or just totally drop her from my life.

Did I get played? And if so.. what now?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

She basically isn't interested anymore. When to much time goes by they loose interest, and once that happens, it's done, regardless if you banged before.

I suggest you move on, leave her be, and seek other girls rather than chase her and give her the power to repeatedly shoot you down. Don't set yourself up for failing.

I agree with Vlad. When a chick is interested, it is usually a limited time offer. That window of time has expired. I'm sorry man.

Although I'm not sure if she was EVER up for a relationship anyway. Notice how she only b@nged you as a taken guy, not a single one?

Thanks guys. I suspected this. I just find it odd that she lead me to believe she was still interested... that is... until I actually came out with the idea of dating her.

Anyway, I think you're both right. She is not worth anymore of my time. I'm moving on 100%.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
