So I'm getting off work tonight and I see this chick standing on the street soaking wet. I go up and talk with her for a bit and she tells me how a friend of hers pushed her in the fountain and her "kinda" boyfriend left because she was wet and he didn't want her in his car. Anyway, I offer to give her a ride home and she accepts. We have a bit of small talk in the car but nothing major. We get to her house and I ask her for her number. She jots it down but really doesn't seem too happy. Do you think she just used me for a ride home? Do you think I should have just not given her a ride and asked for the number there or something? Perhaps I should just next her and not deal with her at all?

From what you said, it seems that she might have felt obligated to give you her number for taking her home. Besides, do you really want to deal with that mess of a situation. You'll have to deal with her jerk azz boyfriend and her bad attitude, cuz you know that wasn't the first time he was a prick to her. She prolly likes that stupid azz behaviour as well.

If it were me, I'd let it go. Don't know though, how far of a drive was it? I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't right down the road. I mean, in my direction, right down the fukken way.

Meh, maybe a mile out of the way. Nothing major. I just felt kinda sorry for her, I probably shouldn't have even gotten involved though, you're probably right.

Call her anyway, the worst that can happen is you get rejected.

She might use you to make her boyfriend jealous, but who cares. You were nice to her, big deal. At the least, you got social proof or some good karma.

BTW, did you come off as a pushover- I don't think so. Sure, give her a call anyway, but just beware that you will get aggro.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
