"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hi all at sosuave. I'm reading the Venusian Arts Handbook and its answered some of my questions regarding pick up.

But it didnt really cover how to properly show higher value. I know that story telling is a good way to DHV the characteristics eg pre-selection and stuff like that. But how is one suppose to tell a story out of no where? It has to be related to the conversation and i know i have to direct it. But doesnt that limit your conversation topics if you have to direct the conversation for the sake of telling a particular story?

Also, are there other ways of DHV'ing? I know humour is another way, but too much humour equals comedian, and i dont want that.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Understand what your quarry's values and if you have those qualities, market yourself to it. During your conversations you should be looking to find these values (you are qualifying her, right?).

I am doing quite well at negging already. But how do i go into telling stories? I've already planned out the story i want to tell, but i cant possibly just cut the conversation thread about the opener and go into story telling. Is there a smooth way to do this?

Also, about qualifying, how do i qualify smoothly so i dont seem to interview her? I get the idea about making open ended statements, bit i usually get 1 word or sentence answers and it isnt interesting.

stories:
Use canned stories. Just be like:
"...hey guys, guess what I saw/did yesterday"
A tip. The longer the story is, the more it has to be at the end of the conversation. Also, use bodylanguage, make lots of pauses and be energized when you tell a story.

qualifying:
you can combine that with your story.
"Would you guys ever do that to a guy?"
"You are all beautiful girls, but you know what´s even more rare than beauty? Beautiful girls that are smart and have a great personality. If I´d ask you to tell me three good things about you, not refering to your looks, what would you say?"

I hope that helps ;)

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Juggler recommends that you don't worry about a smooth transition. It keeps the conversation more exciting if you just switch the conversation topic. This is a DHV because most people do not do this and it ke.

Basically all DHV's are doing is framing yourself as the prize.

truth. I even go so far as to say that in the right context, ANYTHING can be a DHV

therefore focus on who you are, not what you do.

You don't have to have smooth transitioning, as long as the next routine you go into seems congruent and she can't tell it's all canned.

Example:

Opener: Woof, woof woof woof.

Laugh/fluff

Story:

PUA: You know how kids go through this phase where they think the opposite sex is gross?
HB: Yeah

PUA: Well, I never went through that. Ever since I was born I've loved girls. When I popped out of my mom I probably hit on the nurse. (Pause slightly to see her response)

PUA: So in elementary school when all my friends thought that girls had cooties I was secretly making out with them during playtime. Sometimes, I'd even do cutesy stuff like pretend we were getting married or whatnot. (Pause slightly to see her response)

PUA: I remember this one in third grade, I had this girlfriend. But now I was with this other girl under the building block table. Yeah, third grade and I was already cheating on my girlfriends. (This almost ALWAYS gets a laugh)

PUA: So I'm kissing this girl and my girlfriend finds me and freaks out. I get up and try to explain that we were just playing doctor or some ****. Now as kids we never wore bluejeans or belts or anything, I wore these sweat pants things with the elastic waistband, and right there she pulls my pants AND my underwear down. (You'll get a good reaction right here as she should totally be into the story by now)

PUA: I didn't know what to do. I'm standing there with my weenie hanging out. So for some reason, I figured the best thing to do, would just be to pull her pants down too. I grab them but she jumps back a step and sticks her tongue out at me. Now I wasn't about to let her get away with all this so I jump forward. But I forget that I've got my undies around my ankles so I trip and fall on top of her. And JUST at that moment the teacher turns around from the blackboard and just freezes with the most horrified look on her face. I remember the chalk falling from her hand, her screaming, and then the entire class turns and sees me half naked on top of my girlfriend.

PUA: I was sent to the principal, but I never really got in trouble. The principle actually laughed about it once I told him what happened. He let me go saying, "Remember Arcane, in the classroom, we keep our hands off and our pants on".

Next routine: When she replies to the story:

Interrupt her with this:

"You know, you're kinda alright."

Just anything, as long as it seems congruent.

Love it!! stolen...;)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
