"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

As a male, would you want your good female friend to tell you that she 'crushes' on you?

I seriously can't take it anymore. We've only known each other for 3 months, but we atleast talk everyday, and usually hang out everyday as well. It's starting to get toxic for me...everytime he mentions another girl, I get jealous, and I think about kissing him...alot. I thought he felt the same way too (he buys me little gifts, cuddles with me, phones me even when it's techniqually my turn, calls other girls my name ect), until I found out he hooked up with some random chick in a bar. Do I tell him?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Tell him you like him, but don't be dramatic or intense about it. Do it casually and be cool about it. Do it in a text message or phonecall if you like.

Or just try flirting with him more while you are out and drop the odd compliment or remark and see if it is returned.

I'll assume that you are a female. 99% of the people on this board are male, so you may want to mention that.

The philosophy on this board is to teach guys (or girls) not to get too hung up on one person (at least at first). If you do you start to make poor decisions. For your own mental health, you may want to start forcing yourself to go on dates with other people, and learn not to base your own happiness on the outcome of one infatuation.

Don't read too much into things like this with guys. We don't usually keep track of this type of stuff the way girls do. (most of us)

I wouldn't 'confront' him about it. That just makes things awkward for everyone. You should hint that you are interested. Mention 'hey, we should hang out this XXXXday', then try to progress from there. Watch how he reacts to your advances and you will have your answer. If you are already hugging, start prolonging the hugs and see how he reacts. I would strongly advice against cornering him and saying "do you like me?" because if he doesn't, then you are hurt and he feels bad. However, if you are hinting that you are interested in him, he will reciprocate if he is interested, and if he isn't you will notice by how he reacts and you can both save face.

If things don't work out with you and him... I could always add another fine lady to my harem...(wink, wink)
