If you had been to the dermatologist for acne what prescription what did you get and how well did it work

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Alright peep this homie,

This summer i had been breaking out hardcore. Like getting a couple of those REALLY deep zits. I had been using proactive for like 3 years which has kept me clean and clear. However this summer it got bad.

So i went to the dermatologist 2 weeks ago. He prescribed me Retin a micro .04% and doxocycline, an antibiotic i take twice a day.

Lets see, i have noticed a difference and its only getting better day by day. It really depends how severe ur acne is. Mine was mild so not THAT hard to treat.

Its in your best interests to go to the derm ASAP man.

I had severe acne over the course of the last 2 months. Nothing really worked, my derm gave me steivomicin, benzamycin, and some pills. He was goin to recommend me to take accutane for the next time I was going to see him.

My parents were strongly against me taking accutane. But I would have if my acne didn't get under control.

A friend of my parents introduced me to this product called: F.A.C.E. its enzyme based. He said it worked for him when he had severe acne and tried everything like I had.

Do a search on yahoo and you'll find the product online. It's pretty expensive, costing you around 25 bucks US a month, but for the last 3 months I've been clear of acne. Although, the ****en red marks are still hanging round my face from the previous breakouts.

About two months ago, i finished my 6month course of roaccutane @ 80mg per day. I weigh 100kg so thats not too strong. (roaccutane is the australian name for accutane, its the exact same ****)

I had moderate acne developing pretty rapidy. Im 20 by the way. I started breaking out last summer (december last year here in AUS), and i dont know why. My hormones just decided to go ape-shyt.

Anyway, ill keep it short and say that it was the best decision ive ever made. My face is 100% clear and so is my body. The dryness that roaccutane causes is easily treated with moisturiser that you apply daily. Im still applying a little every day until my skin gets back all its moisture and oils.

When you come off roaccutane your skin continues to get better. At the end of my course, i still had the odd pimple form every couple of weeks, but now for the last month (this is my second month off it) i have had zero. I expect it to continue this way for a long time.

Dryness disappears too when you come off it. Your lips get back moisture on their own after a week or two.

As for depression, i personally think that depression and roaccutane are not linked. Take a random sample of teenagers and i believe you will find that the same proportion of them suffer from depression, as those who take roaccutane. Its just my opinion.

There is no established link. Theres a big question mark. I've taken it and i feel fine.

Personally i feel 100%, no make that 110% because my acne is GONE.

P.S. No im not on Roche's payroll.

Before talking roaccutane, i tried:
- Face washes - did jack shyt
- Azelaic acid - did jack shyt
- Benzoyl peroxide all strengths - Did jack shyt
- Differin Gel - did jack shyt
- Tanning - helped temporarily but only made my skin more oily, thus my acne got worse.
