"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Do you think it's a good idea to be in this kind of forum even if one has been suffering from depression? or should I leave for a while and come back when I'm happy w/ myself? I was in denial before about being depressed and worked hard to become more of a Don Juan, but these past couple of months I have gotten down on myself and am not even really motivated anymore to become a Don Juan. So I guess I pretty much already answered my own question.

But does anyone have any advice for me on what to do next? I've already scheduled an appointment w/ my school's therapist next week to talk out my issues. But I just feel completely lost in the world now and don't have much motivation to do anything. I'm not really sure what I want in life anymore and what to do in my spare time. I've also developed some mild OCD. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I'd recommend securing a good relationship with a therapist before worrying about this site. Good luck with the depression, I know how hard that can be.
