Dental Bonding

Has anyone here ever had any Bonding work done on their teeth?

Next month I am getting some work done on my teeth. What sold me on the idea is that bonding is cheaper than veeners or braces, and can be done in one afternoon.

So if anyone has any information done on this then please let me know. Is bonding a good or bad idea?

By the way I am filling the gap between my front teeth and getting a covering on one of my misaligned teeth.
