"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

first my suggestion, I propose that anyone caught flaming should be banned for 1 or 2 or 3 etc days. This way the thread can stay (and hopefully there will be no more flaming) and the flamer realizes if the gets out of line again he will be blocked again. I seriously think this could effectively elminate 80+% of the flaming going on that everyone hates so much (yet engages in themselves, that might be the only problem with this, so many people throw in an occasional flame here and there). of course, there would probably be a lot of banning at first, but i think once people started to realize that their childish insult is not worth the loss of a day or two at sosuave :D, they will get their acts together.

there was a post in the HS forum (i think it was something like "[discuss.me] Jewelry" or something, and i can't find it so i'm assuming it was deleted.

could you explain the criteria for deleting something? Yes there was a little flame war but it wasn't as extreme as others have been (which are still there, even if locked), and I feel that myself as well as some other people had some positive input. I was actually going to go find a mini-speech I wrote in there and post it in another thread discussing what I had talked about, but it has disappeared.

are there really any other options?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Just remember folks... when you flame someone, you're really flaming yourself. Don't we have another term besides "flame"? Nocturnal says bad things about me so does that make him a flamer? ;)

If there was no flaming, Demon would have nothing to post about, and we all live for Demon's posts.

Intellectuals debate with or against me. Idiots are just against me. Eventually, I can just toot the pipe and lead the rats ride out of here.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
