"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

There are lots of threads here about “cold approaches”. But not too much on defining what a “cold approach” is. I think its important to know the difference so we can agree what we are talking about.

From my own experience I have tried to classify it below.

Degrees of cold approaches:

1)Sub-zero: Chance of digits on any one individual = very low. But since this approach is the “shotgun” type, chance of digits en mass = good. This is an approach with no ec, no commonality, no smile, not a hint of interest from the girl. But if you've read anything on this site you know damn well that doesn't mean there is no interest. An example is stopping a girl on the street, or even interrupting something she is doing. Few seem to reference the Bible anymore but some of jwhite's “are you single” approaches fall into this category.
2)Zero: Chance of digits = low. Still in the zone of absolutely no interest from the girl, but there is some situational commonality such as being in a library or bookstore, standing in the checkout line. This is where the good PUA's utilize some advanced screening techniques and increase the likelihood of obtaining digits.
3)Freezing: Chance of digits = average. As with the others above this is someone you have never seen before, a total stranger, but now, the first glimmers of interest are present, such as fleeting ec, or repeat looks from her. Your at the library, bookstore or grocery store and you “catch” her looking, just for a moment.
4)Cool: Chance of digits = above average. Can be a stranger or someone you have seen before but not approached, yet; such as in the gym, class, or club. You have a common interest, common experiences, and may see each other in the future. If you notice interest from her in this situation you must act immediately on it or you will be quickly “de-classified” to ljbf zone.
5)Warm: Chance of digits = good. Can be a stranger or someone you've “cultivated”. IOI's are present = you have been given the “green light”. If you don't pull the trigger immediately you have lost your chance, your her new girlfriend.

Most seem to think of numbers 1 and 2 below as true cold approaches: These would be sarging or hunting expeditions where the only measure is whether you get digits and more. Many PUA's see 1 and 2 as nothing more than fishing, casting a big net and keeping the interested ones.

3, 4, and 5 are what I consider “natural” zones of approach. You happen to be in the grocery store and notice some interest from her, she's getting apples, you get apples. Very simple, natural. Take an aerobics class or dance lessons. If you notice any interest, same thing.

I like 3, 4, and 5 because I think it is a mistake to classify “approaching a girl” as something outside yourself, something that is not natural. Incorporate “approaching” into your natural everyday personality. You will quickly see that approaches are available all the time. You would feel no more need to write an “approach journal” than to write a “every word I said to every person today” journal.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

A cold approach as I interpret and the context that it is usually used is just a set that you open where there total strangers. They could be walking on the street, or maybe in the office next to yours. Or maybe its the girl who just hoped out her cab to run the the book store.

There are two different time periods, there is Day game (Shops, malls, street, gym, etc) and then there is night game. (Nightclubs, bars)

The way you rank daygame makes it seem very hard, but Day game is rather easy. If you were to learn to sarge in nightgame and then start sarging in Day game, you'll have a pretty easy time.

Most of the girls I meet are girls on the street or who are working. If your not able to get girls on the street or mall, etc. Then your doing something wrong and you need to fix it. One thing that I've noticed my friends doing sometimes is that they talk so boring and when your talking to people in the Daytime most of them are just in the regular normal life. Not like a club where there in state and having a great time. So when they do approach they approach all boring and make the whole interaction boring.

Most guys go in finding out what the girl does, what they study/major, etc. Its just boring conversation and she thinks your boring now because you came to talk to her but it turns out your just a boring guy talking about boring stuff. Ususally when I approach its usually something people would think is stupid but it gets them in state as if they were in a club and in the end she is now having fun and not in her boring and normal state of mind.
