"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I've decided on taking a week long 30 hour massage course. I've basically reached a point in my life where I am at a low point and have a while before I consider myself really dateable. In the mean time I am determined to learn some new skills and one of those is massage skills.

Do you think that this will help me in any way?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Yes, I think it might, although I personally would cringe at the thought of touching men.

I say go for it if it's what you want to do. I think it would help a man to be more open and relaxed with women.

It is a foot massage course so I don't have to worry about giving some hairy dude a back rub to pass.

I am on a bit of a vacation right now in Laos and am getting really bored and basically blew it with a girl that I like. I have to lose weight(not that that is why I blew it). But in the mean time I need to ackquire some skills/interests that make me more attractive as a mate. Not just to her, but to women in general. I am sick of getting passed over.

When i was at a low point, it was post serious LTR breakup. I was 40lbs+ over my normal weight and none of it was muscle. I also didn't workout/run for over a year AT ALL. I'm a fitness freak and i love lifting weights, running, swimming, competing in anything and just having fun.

I could barely do a pull up at that point and felt like a really weak/scared person. I was never anything but either skinny or fit and now i was pudgy. I wasn't getting any looks. I know this is might be superficial but alot of my confidence comes from my strength. Knowing that i can fight and that i'm physically strong makes me alot more confident. I also look better because i'm fit and work out.

I really don't see how becoming a foot masseuse or learning the skills is going to help your self esteem or get women. You actually need to be able to pull them with conversational skills/build attraction before you can even give them a foot massage. It's not appealing either unless they are interested.

Work out, eat healthy, and pursue hobbies.

I was considering the same even if for different reasons, being that I behave really bad with girls and need something to calm them down before they reach the boiling point.

But I would skip a feet massage, nowadays the "creepy" calling is almost automatically if a man talk about women feet, I was considering to learn some back massage also to cut out some foreplay time and warm them up faster.

Is there any style which would help? not to hijack ur thread Op.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'll tell you one thing... I know I could make it work for me. Let it slip that you can give an awesome foot massage and she'll be thinking of that all night.

In fact, I wouldn't mind adding that to my arsenal.

Lol I think I'd rather touch another man's back rather than his bare foot.

Hope things get better for you Kakashi-sensei

I'd say go for it, you might find you really enjoy it and decide to pursue it more.

Personal story :

I'm currently in a 1 year massage school (about to graduate) and it has been the best decision of my life thus far. I've improved my physical health/mental health/spiritual health, challenged myself, and gotten way more comfortable around people in general, especially girls.

I hope to work in a gym/sports team or within a hospital/rehab clinic. The feeling that you helped someone feel better physically/mentally is great. A male therapist in particular has many obstacles to overcome but the challenge is worth it. You'll get homophobic men, disgusting bodies, and women who actually refuse massage from a man but these are actually a rarity.

I've actually achieved a "flow" state a few times during a massage (mostly 2 hour sessions), which I've only been able to do during a swim practice and distance running. If you've never experienced being in flow, it's incredible.

Summing it up : Go for it, nothing to lose really

Mark,

The cool thing is, I bet a lot of athletes prefer a male therapist because you can probably get more into the muscle than a 110 lb woman. Good for sports massage or sports-related rehab. A lot of sports teams have sports medicine specialists and they probably also have physical therapists and massage therapists for their athletes.

Hell yes it would. You know if you tell chicks you meet in the future you've learned massage they'll be thinking about getting one. That's actually an easy way in just by mentioning it to chicks.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I couldn't find the course I wanted but found another one. It was 2 days of private lessons with this little old lady. It was actually a lot of fun.
