Senior Don Juan
Here is the situation. I recently started to chat more and more to this girl at work. Usualy say hey or something to each other when we cross paths. A bit of fluff talk here and there and so on. So there is a bit of rapport going here. I think she is a cool person, could be fun to hang with and maybe take things further if it came to that.
I found out that she is leaving the store (and maybe the company) at the end of this month. If she is not at that store Im at, then it don't matter. I also did not hear this information that she was leaving from her, I was just in the same room when it was mentioned. She don't know that I know.
So this got me thinking, ya know, she seems like a cool person, maybe we could hang out together outside of work. Ya know... I could try for her number and if she don't give it, well she is leaving anyway so I probably would not see her that often anymore, so what ever.
The problem is, there is an age difference. From what I understand, she is 18. Im 29. A bit of a difference there. My problem is, would asking her for her number to hang out for coffee or something like that going to make me look like some kind of weirdo or something. But if she was okay with my age, it would be all good, aside what other people would think
On one hand, I don't have many friends and would be kind of cool to make some new ones and there would always be a chance that she has some older female friends she could introduce me to...
On the other hand, what people (herself included) would think of me hanging around with some one that young
