"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Have any of you guys experienced your target's female friend (best friend in my case) get jealous and even talk **** about you behind your back? I am not talking about a pickup scenario, we know each other quite long - this girl is our mutual friend (sort of).

My guess is she's jealous or she just plain doesn't like me. My target sent me a mail with this absolutely insane BS about "how complicated she is" and "how she doesn't want to cause me any trouble" and then after a few minutes of talking she's "warm" again. My gut tells me I'm being ****blocked (and that both of them are probably a little bit psycho too).

I'm pretty confident that you'll tell me to NEXT her and that I am an idiot for not seeing her obvious "**** off, I am not interested" message but I tell you her IL is around 49-51 and something is fishy here - anyway, after you flame the hell out of me it would still be interesting to hear any suggestions on the general "target's best friend causing problems" as I can imagine this might interest a lot of people here.

Oh, and why do I bother? I am drawn to mystery and challenge ;-) If it is a waste of time and a mistake, at least it's my mistake.

Thank you

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Is the BF a guy? Most of time, girls are happy about their girl friend finding a guy. Unless you treated the best friend like **** before...

Lots of women want their gfs paired up with nice, controllable AFCs. And as many if not more would rather their gfs stayed nice and single. Men aren't so different in this respect, as you have rightly anticipated with your prearranged defences. I like a challenge also, though there is always a time to cut bait.

As for jealous friends, ideally they would have been charmed and neutralized from the start, but if you get a real determined trouble-maker, address the problem with your target, and say it saddens you that she can't support your shared happiness. Don't openly attack her, let your girl join the dots.

What evidence do you have that this person is c-ck-blocking you behind your back? She may just be reflecting your targets doubts. If a woman wants you enough she will listen to her friends warnings as little as we men do when warned away from a dangerous hottie. In fact they can make the person even more attractive.

Well, when I met her she was really warm and nice and I was nice to her also. I used to go the the same university as she is attending now and I had some books left so she bought them from me. I wanted to meet her for a coffee or something (just making new friends) but she might have misunderstood this as me trying to get her validation to go for the target (lol).

As for the evidence, my target told me it was her who made her not give me the phone # first time. Then I visited this friend at her work, she told me my target is also on her way here (but I had to run for another meeting) I instructed her to greet her with a ****y/funny greeting - slash - date invitation. Then I found out she didn't even tell her about me being there

The fact she didn't give me her phone # while my game was so tight and I was getting IOIs here and there but still she made her not to allow me #-close tells me she's easily controllable by this friend (that's why I mentioned she might be "psycho" in my first post)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
