Someone I am talking with right now has major ADHD. It is very lively conversations but she just *cannot allow for silences otherwise she brings up something random. Also says she has issues with eye contact sometimes..and is erratic (but very fun!). Also has trouble focusing on more than 1 thing at a time.

on positive, has a tendency to get very excited really quickly and has great energy.

Now I read from others it's GOOD to leave silences in because the girl gets more reactive then, but also it feels tough in ways because I'm used to slower pace and vibe when I'm with someone. I am very comfortable with silences, so a times I feel like I'm just catching up to her verbally all the time even though she is fairly reactive to me.

what advice do you have for this?

You’re not getting many responses because there isn’t really a specific issue to solve here. If you’re genuinely not enjoying the relationship because of how her condition is then it's okay to stop talking to her; you’re not obligated to keep going.

However, if you are having fun, she’s reciprocating, you’re escalating things, and she’s even testing you, then what’s the problem? It sounds like you're just adapting to a different connection since not every interaction is supposed to feel the same.
