"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

If she does talk about it. Listen lots. Agree with her lots. After a while she ll b open to solutions. Don't give them. Ask her what she wants to do. If you absolutely must be a therapist be a good one. Sorry babe it sounds like you feel out of control when you're too rushed. How do you think you could change that? I had a mate who had a girlfriend it was half the size of a house went on light and easy controlled meals. She d eat two of them at every meal and then complain that she had run out. He made the mistake of trying to help her and so he became the nag. Don't take responsibility for another adults behaviour you can encourage the good and then ignore them when they are behaving badly that is all. And of course that girl is now the size of a house and maybe a small garage too.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

This is where I'm at now. I'm controlling every needy cell in my body and making it more about what's going on with her than how her drama is making me feel. It's tough but it's better than being clingy and showing weak resolve.

He made the mistake of trying to help her and so he became the nag.
This is where I don't want to be but I'll never understand why women don't want their s**t fixed.
