Probably only British people will get that one.
It's a British football player and merked is his phrase for punked. You know when you play a trick on someone?

I got them from another forum, although I think most of them originate from 4chan (I could be wrong)

Search for 'football365 forum de-motivational posters' if you want to see more. Those were just my favourite.
