"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

So I was at this party and this girl was flirting with me. I gave her the perfect mixture of push/pull and several times throughout the night she came up to me to start talking. Anyway she was flashing so many IOI's that some of my friends were telling me that she obviously wanted me.

Here's the kicker. She asked me if I had a facebook account and I told her no if she wanted to reach me she could give me her phone number. She told me no and I just figured I'd overestimated her Interest Level and I called it quits.

However, even after that she was still flirting with me heavily. Enough so that my friends asked me if I was gay or blind. By that time I was ignoring her and going after this other girl so I didn't much care. But now I have to wonder what was going on.

So the only conclusions I can come up with is either I was reading way too much into everything, or I screwed up, or she just wanted to screw me with no strings attached.

I'm young, inexperienced, and pretty confused and so I would appreciate any input anybody would care to offer.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

My Nigerian cousin Akono always told me... "If a girl ever found out that you made a multi paragraph post to people you did not know on a website about a girl you met once , then her father would use your scrotum as a watercarrier and your ears as a necklace."

Now disregarding dear Akono's local methods of family retribution, the point he was making was, you are ALREADY being pathetic. Therefore do not deserve her.

The moment you stop questioning everything, take control of your own borders and deal with the Hezbollah scum that threaten your dear Grandma's neighbourhood the sooner you will be a MAN worthy of a fine woman.

I guess what I am saying is, be the man every woman deserves and then the women shall come. Make that your focus, then all the other rewards in life shall fall at your feet. Including swift justice upon entitled Palestinian dirt.

Hope this helps brother.

seems like a girl showed interest and you wussed out. it happens.

question remains, what will you do different next time? or how do you take that step forward on the road of suxxess? lets say she had given you her number how would that have affected your behaviour towards her?

i dont think that she didnt give you her number right away had anything to do with her level of interest. but honestly ... a girl that WANTS to talk to you is always into you, no need to gauge her level of interest here. why would you? just so you can play it save? lets just assume ANY girl that talks to you more than 5 minutes is highly interested. makes life much easier. and choices much harder.

i mean you will need to take on responsibility on your own behalf. responsibility to take things to the next level, even when not all lights are green. this is one thing the troll above me has right, you have to make YOUR choice, you take ACTION, you DEAL with whatever follows.

so ... listen to yourself in situations like this, be clear about what you want and then bravely do what is needed.

Flashpoint brother, I admire your thinking. My own government could use that kind of wisdom, alas, the Iranian threat continues.
