"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

started off as FWB with this girl and never planned on being in a relationship with her, but after having sex a bunch of times and hanging out alot blah blah i started catching feelings so we eventually got into a relationship (i know HUGE mistake)

i made it clear from the beginning of the relationship that i was NOT going to take on the father role for her kid, and that im going to be in a relationship with her but not her kid and she was okay with it.

whenever im around the kid i just ignore it like 99% of the time tbh(yea i know im a scumbag). the relationship has been great, lots of good sex, shes really loyal and loves me alot blah blah, she has low expectations and i berley spend any money on her and never spend money on her kid and shes perfectly okay with it.

things are great between me and my girl no problems at all, the problem is her kid, i used to get annoyed being around it and thought over time itd get better but its only gotten worse, i literally dread spending the weekend with her at this point because i know im gonna have to be around her annoying ass kid and it stresses me out..

whenever its just me and my girl things are completely perfect...she has sole custody so i dont get any weekends alone with her.

what do i do? i really wish i could just go back to being FWB but i dont thinks that possible at this point. should i just end it with her? and if so how? she literally hasnt done anything wrong which is why i havent ended things already...

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
