"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I'm all for approaching/dating, but I still don't know how to handle the situations that have girls that you'll see often. If I'm out at a mall/club, etc. I'm fine with approaching because I know I'll never see her again, but when it comes to work/school/church, and places like that I get "cold feet" or something.

I tried this once and it went diastrously. I had that ackward feeling around her for the next 3 months that I had to see her in class and it's still kind of weird between us. I act better now, but it was during one of those times when I wasn't skilled, so I still feel kind of stupid/embarrassed when I'm around her or see her.

This situation seems to come up the most. I've realized that more girls in school/work/church are interested in me in than compared to the "colder" approaches. It's almost to the point where I don't really have to work if I approached in these areas. However, I don't really know how I'll handle these situations so I've stayed away from them. I want to know how so I can capitalize on them. Advice please?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

PING them...

send out a signal and see what comes back.

you needn't do anything dramatic or risky.

all you need to do is find out if they're into it. make eye contact and smile and see if there's anything there. kino them and see how they respond.

you send out these signals (flirtations basically) to GAUGE THEIR REACTION.

and keep your eyes open. the answer may indeed be no. and if it is, you better read that right.

but if you are consistently ESCALATING and she keeps going along with it, JUST ASK HER OUT... no big revelation of your feelings or anything like that, just ask her out.

it's a risk at this point but not much of one... but still, you might not be into it.

but that's the least you can do to make these situations work. and if you frame it right, it shouldn't be that awkward afterward.

luck,

Being in a college sport for 4+ years and having to practice with the women's team every day, I purposely avoided anything for this reason, and would almost have to advise others to do the same. One girl transferred last semester from another school so I hung out with her a few times to get to know her better, but it pretty much ended at that.

In a case like this, it's not really worth having 40 girls you see every day know about what you do on a constant basis, because they WILL talk about it. But seeing as the people you work with probably don't all work at the same time, you might be able to find some way around it.
