Ask for her work number. This is much less of a commitment.

Ask for her work number by showing interest in what she does and telling her you might be a customer. Or, have a friend who might be a customer .

Talk to her. Find out about a problem she has. Offer to solve it for her. Get her number so you can ring her when you have found the answer. Ask her friends. ( They won't turn down a chance to play matchmaker )

OR - why not give her YOUR number

Do you want to know something strange. There is this HB I'm friends with, we dated a while ago, but now are just friends (She is excellent social proof). We often share dating war stories btw so this is common practice.

She actually told me last week that she liked dating a guy that she thought she could take in a fight! lol. Now I'm 6'3" and 2+ years training in Ninjutsu so I can handle myself and have a dominating presence. So I said "do you really like guys like that? They can't protect you if YOU can beat them up?" And she said yes she actually preferred that! Now I may have been fed typical woman BS here, she was always safe with me around and she knows there is no way in hell she could ever beat me, unless she shot me with a gun from 100 yards lol. Now this little European guy she is dating is shorter then her and apparantly weaker and she prefers that, is she for real? I mean she may have just made this guy up, or the whole theory for that matter.

I don't know, it's just a little unbeleiveable to me that a woman truly wants a guy that she could beat up lol
