"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

O.k. so thanks to sosuave i am dating a lot, i can ask girls out, take a phone number, and the quality of women i have been dating has increased a lot so i am very happy, the problem is, i am no longer just interested in a short sexual relationship, i am in my early 30s and i am looking for something long term, i dont want to be a grandpa for my children. My problem is, i am having trouble keeping women interested in me, they like me, they think i am good looking, but i am failing to create atraction so they can stick around.

Any advice from older mature DJ's welcomed.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Hell I am in my 30's (divorced with one kid) also and I have the opposite problem. Chicks I meet want an LTR right of the bat when I am just looking for some casual sex. A 24 year old girl I was last seeing practically proposed to me after several weeks and she was paying for everything including expensive vacations/hotels.

If you are dating the 20's crowd, many of these girls are just interested in a short fling. They are in the slut phase of their lives where the last thing on their mind is to have a longterm relationship. Once they hit their late 20' to 30's that is when they start thinking of a LTR.

But, you can't really generalize. Different people have different agendas. You just have to keep on dating until you find someone who is on the same page as you.
