'Dad' wins $13k after secret DNA test

An Australian mother has been forced to pay her ex-husband almost $13,000 in child support after he secretly had a DNA test done that confirmed he was not the father of his 14-year-old son.

Would this fly in the U.S? Or would it be "illegal" because it was done in secret? Always trust your gut.

It wouldn't matter even if she allowed you to take a DNA test and it came back the kid wasn't yours. All US court cases I have seen they make the "fake father" continue paying child support even after its proven she cheated on him and the kid isn't his.
