Cute Girls/Ugly Guys

I know I'm probably shooting myself in the foot by posting two threads in a row, but I thought this would make a rather fascinating topic, and I'm interested to hear third party opinions on this one...

I have a friend which I often converse with. We'll call him Jay for now since that is his actual name and I don't see any reason to change it. Anyway, Jay and I were walking in Wal-Mart one day when Jay brought up an interesting topic. Every time we see a beautiful girl, she's always with an ugly guy. I don't know if this is some sort of world-wide conspiracy, but it certainly makes for some interesting discussion.

Jay and I have been talking over this subject for several weeks now, and neither of us have come to any conclusions as to why girls hang around fugly guys. I know that looks alone are not what make guys attractive to girls, but you'd think in the weeks that we've been hanging around malls and in pool halls we'd have seen at least one attractive guy surrounded by a plethora of hotties. Not so. In fact, the topic came to a head a couple days ago when Jay witnessed a really fugly guys pick up two cute girls at a pool table. Jay had been talking to one of them earlier, and the guy interrupted him and challenged these girls to a game of pool, then picked up both their numbers on the way out. This pissed Jay off, needless to say, and though I'm not at all baffled by this phenomenon, (obviously, the guy had balls to approach two hotties, and confidence has always been a major turn-on for girls) if I were a girl, I would let this guy NOWHERE NEAR my vulva. He seriously looked like he had recently crawled out of a tree. In fact, I think he could be the missing link between ape and man that evolutionists have been searching for. He had the mongoloid jaw and everything!

So, have any of you fellow guys noticed the cute girl/ugly guy phenomenon? Are there any theories as to why this happens (genetic or otherwise)? I'm interested to hear any theories, so post on, DJs!

I'd imagine that these "ugly men" probably have one or more of the following:

1) Lots of money.
2) Socially important (mayor, president of a local organization, etc.) or is popular.
3) Have really good "game."

I think the last one is kind of iffy, but that's because I'm doubting it's effectiveness. I've been at this site for a while and I don't think I act like an AFC anymore (I try to be a tough, calm, cool, no-B.S. type of guy), but my success with women hasn't gotten any better.

That's strange that you didn't see any cute girls that were not with ugly guys. Maybe those girls were just being nice and giving him their phone numbers. Maybe they didn't want to express their disinterest right away.

Bottom line is that until you're in the bedroom with them and watching them do it in front of you, you don't know whether these guys are getting any further than talking to them or getting a number.

Anyway, what the hell do you care if ugly guys get hot chicks? Instead of being pissed off at it, try and see what their trick is. Get to know some of those ugly bastards and see if you can uncover their secrets (if any). Then once you're done, report back here to share their secrets with us

hmm, well i cant say i disagree with you. there have been multiple times where ive seen ugly or average looking guys holding hands with a total hb in the street.

I think this might be why -
A)Girls often take what they can get (who wants to be alone?) and they were there atm so why not?

B)These are Hot babes, they can be very intimidating to most guys. So im sure they get less chances than an average girl to date guys. And thus leading back to point A.

Btw, its funny i see this in the workplace also. The Technician for the company i work for, whenever i see him in the office, he's always saying C&F things to the hb8 receptionist (altho she's already married and has a baby on the way). So this ugly single guy always tries to stick around and get into her pants...

she tells him every time that he gets on her nerves, yet it doesnt seem that way, haaha

Tell me about it. One of my former highschool buds is really ugly and has completely idiotic attitutude with guys, bordering on crazy. Yet he always managed to get HOT girlfriends. However, he can't keep any of them for more than 8 months because he reverts to a textbook AFC several months into the relationship.

I was out last night and I met this average bloke who wasnt exactly attractive looking. He is in his mid 30's and hes dating a blonde 18 year old girl really fit.

When I questioned him about this it emergned that he had 3 girls on the ago, two he had met on the internet and one in a bar. He said it boils down to persistance, confidence and having a great sense of humour

The real reason you remember all these examples of an ugly guy with a hot girl is because they are actually rare and therefor stick out in your mind...The same way you would be more likely to remember someone's face if they were severely deformed rather than average looking.

however i think woman see man's beauty differently...

maybe its just not the same as we do...

and u always have to consider the "knowing-factor", when u get to know someone she turns to be more beaultiful them the first impression...


or just maybe, woman can over-run the uglyness if the guy is very, very good at other aspects

This actualy reminded me of a situation I was in last month. I was at a bar with a girl I've been seeing and one of her friends. Both are really good looking and get hit on quite a bit. I walked away to get myself a drink and I come back and this kid was sitting at the table. So I sit down and introduce myself whatever. He looks at me and asked what their names were. So I laugh at him a little bit and say hey their sitting across the table why don't you ask them yourselves. So he countered with the I'm asking you b**** I tell him the same again. Finally I just look at the kid and cant help but laugh and ask if he really thinks that he had a chance by doing **** like that. He surpassed alpha and went right to caveman. So I asked him to leave as I wasn't really interested in talking to him and no one else there obviously was either. As he walked away he turns and says "well yeah, your not even good looking you ugly fvck." By us and the people within the vicinity are almost on the ground laughing at this kid.

I'm not a bad looking guy, not the best looking either though. Deal was that I was there with good looking girls and he had no chance. So the moron went home probably asking the same question that you pose. Why is he with those girls and I'm not. Well looks are only one part of the picture.

in fact its not hard at all, see because the hotter the girl the easier it is to get her. Only problem is what kinda person are you?
