"Blank Mind on Dates? She's Dropping Hints You Keep Missing"

The plates get cleared and the silence lands like a brick. You can feel her waiting. Your brain offers up your commute, your job, the weather — topics that have ended more second dates than bad breath.

Here's what most guys never learn: women hand out free conversational material all night long. Tiny clues about what they actually want to discuss. Catch them and you never run out of things to say — because she's telling you what to say next.

Rule 4 of the "22 Rules" trains your ear to catch every single one.

I - Crutches

Alcohol. Techniques. Too overly planned routines. Rocket science.
If you need all that to get to women, feel sorry for you son. You suck. You're a loser. But don't worry, most people are losers.

Been there done that. Memorised the whole convo even before it began. WTF?
Nowadays I think: what would Karate Kid say?
LOL
I come up with the most unusual, silly and embarassing things to say to open up the ladies, and often they work. And guess what, if they don't, I don't give a f*ck, cause I have a lotta fun doin' it.
Always sober. Always good. Always fun.

Drop those f*cking crutches and crawl around until you learn to walk. Then you'll dance the real dance.

II - High Expectations

I don't know if this is due to my complete disregard to people in beginning situations, but I find it bad to have high expectations. I like to let it slide. Call me slow if you want, yeah, I miss some opportunities too, but at least you don't see me b!tching or angry/mad/disappointed.

My friends have high expectations. They get too excited too fast, and that's f*cking bad man. They know the chicks for 1 week and are already in loved and think they're the best friends ever. Holy sh!t... and the compliment them like they were goddesses. No one has the nerves to call them when they're bullsh!ttin'....

That's bad man... bad sh!t. Just let things slide and keep looking for other girls, opening new ones and remember: have real fun with your buds...

I see those motherf*ckers only on weekends, I'm having a blast, but then they turn into a sh!tty mood because of their disapointments. Could have ruined my weekend. Nevermind. There are 2 chicks there awaiting to be opened, and I have a lot of funny sh!t to say no matter how the audience feels like...

Expecting a lot too soon will get you disapointed, being disapointed you end up in a sh!tty mood, that makes your mojo go down the gutter and how do you think you're going to get new women feeling like that? Damn!

The whole world is your f*cking urinal. So why are you letting the world get you pissed, when you should be the one pissing around?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Crutches also include drugs and low-self-esteem[yes this is a crutch if you hide behind it in order to get laid], **** buddies, LTRs.

The last three can be crutches but arn't always...

BBBoy... This is a great post for older Dj's. But i think this could be deadly for some Newbs. If you read the resurected SS bible... the Pre-nup post says the exact same things, except with a little more detail. It was by MoTU.

Great post once your already on your way to DJism.

the yawning pits of hell
I can't really mess around with girls when i'm on drugs...drugs make me silent. Especially weed...alcohol makes tell stories and say a bunch of funny sh*t, but I don't really feel like flirting with girl while drunk because the girl is probably drunk and its all superficial sh*t, and in the morning you find out the girl you thought was an 8 is really a 4.

NJ BABY!
The All-Important Package

All right, my first post! Feels like a bungee jump except without the jump but all the thrill.

My observations on the high school scene; there need to be two factors that are set right for things to go smoothly and to have as good and happy a time as possible.

#1: The ******d Projection. The world recognizes you only as you show yourself; and what you show yourself as being is what the whole game revolves around.

Your greatest asset for getting the "look" right is CONFIDENCE. Ever heard of "The Captain is Always Right?" Why do you think the Captain is always right?

Yep, because he looks like he is. He could be knee deep in water on the top deck, but if he knows how the game works, the crew will believe that everything will be fine. Now that's good projection!

Not only that, but WHAT the projection shows is also important. Are you a punk? A skater? Or a preppy? Perhaps the junkie? Any which way you look at it, there are many choices for who you want to be. And in high school, most people don't know exactly who they want to be. But that's fine; experiment, find what you like; after all, who is this all about but yourself and your happiness? Whatever you do, you must look CONFIDENT doing it. Make every new idea and action feel to others as though its the most natural, sensible thing you've ever done. That way, you get the good vibes going, and look like you've got your life together, notwithstanding how messed up things really might be.

#2: The Inward Reality. In the end, to make a great ******d projection, you need to make sure that the cogs inside are working right.

Your emotional state and your thoughts are what most influence your behavior. Knowing this, the obvious conclusion is that you need to make sure that your emotions and thoughts don't drive you crazy inside because, no matter what, you cannot hide them forever.

Clean the car up before putting it up for sale. Make sure that, above all, you are comfortable with yourself. Look at the great speakers, and notice their actions.

Take Bill Clinton, for example. Is he Mr. Perfect? Definitely not. Many women and scandals afterwards, his name isn't exactly pristine. He's chubby; he's got that Arkan-saw accent; and he's had to deal with running the most powerful country in the world for eight years straight. Enough to put anyone out of their mind, right?

Yet look at him. When he talks, despite having obvious flaws, YOU CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF HIS STYLE. Nobody can get an audience as excited as he can, and he looks so confortable inside of his skin that it must hurt.

Why that long story? Because it shows that your emotions and thoughts can be conquered and tailored to fit your wants; that even if you've got some of the heaviest weight around in your head, its possible to just let it go. Without that, you'll never be able to project yourself correctly.

So, how to do this. There is a simple saying that will definitely help you through HS; Don't give a sh*t. That's right. What is high school anyway but a four-year experiment in a bio-dome full to capacity with angst and new stuff? Enjoy yourself. Realize that this is probably going to be one of the best times of your life. Have some fun, and let your emotions and thoughts know that it's OK; who's gonna care years from now anyway?

Just some thoughts about the prelude; cause you can't get a hold on the honeys without first getting a hold on yourself.;)

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
