Critique Me.

I'm in a bank a couple days and I'm at the teller counter when I notice an incredible blond staffer heading out the front door. I finish up a minute or two later and go outside. The parking lot is relatively empty and I spot the blond in her car. I walk to my car and get in before I tell myself not to be a p*ssy and and go ask her out. I walk over and notice she is smoking, which is a huge turnoff, but I'm already there so game on. I start out with "Hi, I'm ... I then ask her why she didn't offer me an auto or home loan with a smile as a joke. I don't really know if she caught that I was joking around though. I then ask her out and she responds with "I'm dating someone and I don't like dating multiple guys."
Looking back my attempt at a joke about a loan fell flat, but I'm glad I did it. I got some validation for asking her though and that always gives me more confidence for the next one. Any thoughts?

Once in a blue moon I get approached and yes it absolutely makes my day! Even if they were fugly it would probably make my day....js

At first it feels really awkward, but it happens to chicks more often so I would imagine they handle the awkwardness a lot better.

Thanks for the motivation OP, I'm going to get out there today and try it.
