"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I would have her explain just to satisfy my curiosity(even though whatever she says will likely be bs) and then I'd dump her.

Well, if you do what you want to do it will be the right decision.
It may not be the nicest one, but it will be the right one.

Because if you do what you want, then you will have no regrets.

The internet can't decide or act for you, you have to do whatever it is you choose.

So, think, decide what YOU WANT and regret nothing.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Yes, the OP is the better catch. He's in his prime. She's way past prime.

Don't settle for that.

*sigh of relief* I thought you were gonna devolve into a save a ho mindset for a second there lol. Anyways why end it when she's treating you like a King? Go ahead and let her shower you with gifts, sex and attention while you do your own thing. Detach emotionally from her and go spin plates.

Sounds like this girl has a sick desperation in her life. Desperate about you, desperate about herself in the way she abuses herself. Some man might fix her, but if you're not seriously head over heels wowed gotta rope this one in over her, you probably don't want to be the one to do that, cause she'll probably **** with your other plates and cause drama in the future.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Swamp Camel,

Spot on man. That was pure poetry..but elaborate this statement please.

"...but if you're not seriously head over heels wowed gotta rope this one in over her..."

Did you mean crazy about her?....wont that give her a big head and false confidence.

Haha, I mean, if you're not crazy about this girl and looking to commit monogamously to her, then don't make her your project. That project requires exclusive, committed attention, and if you don't give it to her, she will cause drama in your life. She's probably very self conscious and super anxious about your attention, and I doubt any amount of pandering will relieve that for her.

I definitely don't mean act crazy about her, especially if you're not. ;)

Gota say she's seems emotionally damaged judging by how she seems desperate for your attention constantly. That alone would give me reason to dump her.

Surely nobody wants to be skyping/calling another person EVERY evening, and then blowing their friends off for said person. She's so invested in you, you have become her life. That's nigh on creepy and props too you if you can deal with it, however if it were me in your shoes, well I couldn't stand to be the centre of somebody else's life other than my own.

I'd get rid. As Swampcamel said as well, she is a project, and going on what you've said about yourself, you have other more important projects to work on, besides a woman with kids.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

That shıt's bananas! But yeah, she sounds like damaged goods. I had a chick long distance that insisted on talking every night and I became her whole life. Needless to say it bothered the hell out of me and it ended in a big pile of human disaster.

She sounds like she has an addictive personality. Not good. Sadly, those kids were probably conceived while she was in one of her drunken stoopers or high. Speaking of kids, she has two and is not acting very motherly. She'd rather go out and get trashed. I would seriously have a talk with her. Tell her you are not the one for her. Büllṣhit her and tell her you'll be friends, yadd, yadda, all that crap, and just disappear. Could even be BPD. Obsessive for sure. RUN, Forrest, RUN!
