i cant transfer songs to my ipod. i installed all the software for the ipod. whenever i plug in my ipod to the usb port and start itunes my computer restarts!!! its pissing me off!! i got so mad i got up and slammed my chair on the ground and broke it.
can someone help me?
i think i need some anger management classes..:rolleyes:

does it work if you start up with it plugged in already?

you might have any number of driver issues...

ah the poor world of windows. i miss thee not.

it still restarts itself. i also have this bubble thingy on the right bottom corner of my windows saying some drivers were disabled because they were causing windows to become unstable...do you think thats it? if so, how do i fix it??

i somehow got it to start transfering!! yay! but its doing it real slow. i got the regular usb, i think thats why. but it didnt restart this time...but most of the time it does. i guess i got lucky? well, i dont always want to get lucky to transfer songs so how do i fix that problem??....:confused:

yeah, usb 1 is slow.

as for the main problem, try to make sure you have the latest of everything (updates, etc.). if MS doesn't supply the usb drivers and you know the manufacturer, you can also check their site for teh latest drivers.
