Most citizens wont be able to adjust to the new economic situation so the governments will provide a universal basic income, think of it as some kind of perpetual welfare check for most of the population.

Their dreams of economical and cultural socialism will exist through covid or the way they will shape the effects of the pandemic.

I don't fear such situation. However, it does appear this COVID is a soft/harder-than-soft kill weapon utilized to kill millions around the world. In other words, it was long talked about that we are over populating, and that something has to be done. Well, this something is here. It sounds outlandish, but a lot of the things going on right now would have sounded like science fiction 30 years ago. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see something like this coming fairly soon. I don't like seeing it, but I'm getting to that age where I'm realizing I'm not going to be around on this world that much longer anyway. The income in many types of jobs and the gig economy is not realistic. When enployed people end up homeless or needing food then you need to subdidize that income. People should be able to have a roof over their head and eat if they are working. There are many rich people who dont contribute much to main street economy and if the work ethic was rewarded enough then there would not be a need of such a thing.

There was a program on Russian tv about a month ago with legitimate concerns about America. Premise was simple, as if it was applied to Russia prior to logics. Not every unemployed person is a pusssy; some were just unlucky...but, some were just pusssies.

This talking point is rubbish. Someone who voluntarily quits their job is not eligible for unemployment.

Better question: What do we call big corporations that get billion dollar government handouts then immediately lay off thousands of workers?
