Costume contacts? yay or nay?

I was thinking about wearing those costume contacts that make your eyes have different designs in them like that the cat eyes. Would this be somethin you would get made fun of if you wear or would they actually be cool to wear? Im just wondering what people think since i never see anyone wearing them
