The article doesn’t state any valid reason why he should be exempt from a school wide vaccine mandate, they’re only talking about his remote learning status. The school does grant exemptions for medical and religious reasons according to their spokesperson, but perhaps this kid just feels he’s special or his firewall has holes in it…
I personally think he’s a whiner, as he obviously went to the press, but he made a decision and now he needs to live with it.

Not sure why they don't use red neck bible belt exemption as the play. Or just deem identifying as being vaccinated.

All joking aside, my guess is the school wants to have ONE blanket policy for ALL students. Then they don’t have worry if an all-online student ends up taking an in-person or hybrid class at some point or needs to visit the campus for some reason.
