I just got a new laptop with a DVD burner..and i have two questions:

first- whats the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R...i dont know what type of blank DVD's to buy.

second-can all movies be copied? i heard that some movies put blocks on them, and i want to know if there is a way to bypass that block and copy the movie anyway

thanks

One really good program you can use, if you have Nero already, is DVD Shrink. www.dvdshrink.org

It's freeware too! It will help you make BACKUP copies of any commercial DVDs you OWN. ;)

DVD+R and DVD-R are just two different standards, it really doesn't matter which you use since most DVD burners and players made in the last few years can play/record both.
