Conversation with a group of girls

Hey guys,

I was stuck with a group of females at a restuarant. They talked amongst themselves about useless crap that didn't interest me. When I tried directing the conversation to things I enjoyed it quickly reverted back to the girly topics. This left me sitting there just listening to them talk. Man it was boring.

Next time this happens is it best to let them talk or try and join in as much as possible?
 

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

hey,its a deadend situation i find.. the girls i normally hang out with,talk amongst themselves it seems like girly stuff or about people i dont know,and im left there looking stupid,its best to follow the convo and try keep up,i dont put much convo in when they have their moments,but if you try and it dosent work you look stupid,and if you dont they think your anti-social lol,and i hate when a your with them... and a girlfriend of theirs comes to meet them,and i swear for the next 15 minutes its like you dont exist lol
