"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I've wanted to share this for a while. Its a learning experience for me as well, so please give your input and thoughts.

"Words, like an arrow, cannot be controlled once loosed"

Women, for some reason, LOVE to talk/ask about the potential "flashpoint" topics - money, kids, careers, parents, exes, domestic tastes, daily sleep/wake cycle, etc.
(Quoted from WildThang's post)

to us guys, some of these things are taboo. Like never, ever talk about your exs.

recently I've been bombarded by some of these volatile topics and I've dodged several potentially nasty bullets. After several close calls, I'm beginning to develop strategies where I take my gf's conversations and steer them in a direction away from these ticking time bombs topics. Not only are they dangerous, but its too easy to say something wrong/make a mistake. We all have our dark secrets, secrets that we will take to the grave with us, that no one else will/ should ever know.

1) briefly answer her and then grab that convo by its bunny ears and steer it in a totally different direction.

2) talk about positive, joyful things. Things that make you laugh. Things that make you happy, that you enjoy talking about. Its important to project a positive image of yourself, since it makes everyone around you happier too.

the last thing you want is end the night in a note of negativity because you let something stupid slip out of your mouth. I did once and it was a huge wake up call. Fortunately, I caught my own mistake, and I vow NEVER, EVER to let it happen again.

NEVER WILL I DISCUSS "FLASHPOINT" topics in detail. My gf is rather prying and does ask from time to time, although lately, my strategies have been working impressively.

Always end conversations on a positive note, my friends. If you sense a topic isnt comfortable for you or has the potential to turn even mildly dangerous, steer that bunny away. There is no need to take risks, no need to create doubts, theres tons of happy, joyful things you can talk about. You cant control what comes out of her mouth, but you dam sure can control what comes out of yours. :)

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
