"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I have a few things I need to clear up.

When you first meet someone is it best to be really friendly? I approached a group of girls, introduced myself and such, and met them later that night and found out they perceived me as not liking them. I wasn't mean to them or anything...I was just indifferent, not really excited or anything.

Also, I'm going to call this girl up and setup a date. She's really hot, but not slutty at all. I'm not sure if she's a hot girl who knows she's hot or a hot girl who doesn't think she's hot. How should I approach this? Should I go in w/ a carefree friendly attitude to loosen / break the ice and then start the playful neggin and such?

Is the first part to make the person feel comfortable around you? How do you go about doing this? I read the DJ bible, so I'd like personal suggestions.

I would suggest to make her comfortable (don't see why you wouldn't), and what women say isn't exactly what they feel or what they will do!

Alright, break ice, and slide in a neg, if it backfires, I wouldn't do it again.

But honestly, just be comfortable (if you can help it), and it will all fall together (in a good way).

Okay, but how do I get rid of my insecure tendencies. Sometimes I worry too much about myself and how I'm being perceived and don't allow myself to learn about others and let free.

That's social anxiety my friend, I wouldn't be able to tell you right here, but try going to socialanxietysupport.com

You MIGHT find something there, other than that, all the other philosophies work for it.

The only thing you might find unnerving is that these insecurities aren't always easy to get rid off... you're gonna have to put yourself in uncomfortable situations to get out of it.
