"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Just wanted to get people's opinions on this.
If the date went really well, lots of flirting, laughing, smiling, chemistry, and plenty of kino (regardless if it got to the point of a kiss or not), how long would you wait until you contacted the girl? Assuming you exchanged texts at the end of the night saying you both had a good time and looking forward to doing it soon.

Everyone seems to have different opinions on this, so I was wondering.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

TEXTING KILLS RELATIONSHIPS.

You can click on the link in my signature to see why. The only time you text a girl is if (a) she text you first and you're sending a response, or (b) if you're too chicken to call for a date but still want to ask her out. THAT'S IT.

You don't want to get in the habit of having long text conversations with a woman on the phone. If anything, you want her to NOT know when you'll hit her up next time for a date. So, if you went out with her last night and want to take her out next Wednesday, wait til Monday to hit her up. Yes, that means going a full 4 DAYS without hitting her up, and those 4 days you're not talking to her or hitting her up first will work in your favor.

Remember: you never want a girl to completely know she has your interest. The more she can't quite figure you out, the longer you'll be in the game for. And yes, I'm sure other people on here will chime in with "no, no, no, you gotta hit her up right away." You don't. I've had girls I took out a few times then didn't contact for months or YEARS who still wanted to go out with me when I finally decided to hit them up again. If they like you, you don't have to rush in by sending her messages all the time.

Hope this helps!

Bro the kiss is everything. Other than that you are just feeding her ego. You have to make her invest by kissing you, all the flirting and I like you stuff is white noise otherwise.

Like Harry said, you shouldn't say you had a good time on text. She shows that to the guy she is sleeping and your value drops.

Don't know the exact circumstances above, but guys shouldn't assume girls are innocent. Sometimes they want to test you to see how long you will go before you emotionally snap.

I agree, there is no reason to be texting a girl, only call her to meet up, that's it.

I think you guys misunderstood the point of the question though. Staying away from texting and calling is a given, I was referring to how long you would wait until you contacted the girl for a second date assuming all of the above happened.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

If you really like her, then wait until she contacts you.

Definitely keep texting just to set up dates, a minimum. Once you teach her that you are a texter, it's a bad, bad deal. It'll be the core of your communication, and that's bad.

As far as when to contact her, there are various thoughts on this. I say do them all. Keep her guessing. Sometimes 3 days, sometimes 4. Hell even a week at times. Surprise, you did it the next day. Keep it random. But have the discipline and patience to not text like a madman in between dates. Take your time. If she is not feeling you and it turns to shıt, you invested little time. Why would you? You don't know her. This is all a big screening process, so don't rush into Needy Mode.

Chill and don't be anxious, girls can small that shıt like blood to a shark!

Good luck.

Thanks for the response guys.
Point being, the date went really well, but was on Wednesday. She left for the weekend and will only be back Sunday night. I don't plan on calling her until Monday, so we'll see how it goes.
