"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I have read that several top bodybuilders, Ronnie Coleman for one, change their routines every week in some way. Coleman says he never repeats the same workout. I've thought about changing my routine: exercises, rep ranges, etc. each week to see if I can accelerate gains. Does anyone here do this and what kind of results do you get?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I had been doing the same workout routine for about 2 years (actually only one big "basic" exercise for each muscle group, like bench press, squats, crunches, military presses ,etc.) or so have gotten results constantly then I thought I should change my routine and started using other exercises, too only worked out each muscle once a week but with a higher intensity, etc. but after a while I realized the results I was getting on this routine were actually worse so Im using my old routine again and Im still getting (better) results from that one.

I tried to alternate my routine, because I thought people might be right when they're saying that ure muscles grow faster when hit from different angles and when you use a new routine because of the variety etc. but from my experience thats not really true. Maybe ull have better results form doing it though, just try out and find out ;-) good luck!

Out of curiosity can you post your routine. I've also been thinking about trying a basic routine with strictly compound exercises for awhile.

I knew somebody was gonna say that :D but i dunno what i could have done "wrong" or whateva...but sticking to this routine has just worked best for me and im gonna stick to it, because ive almost reached my goal anyways:

tuesday/thursday:

bench presses: 6 sets
military presses: 6 sets
triceps (dunno what the exact name of the exercise is in english..): 4 sets
shrugs: 4 sets

wednesday/friday:

squats: 3 sets
leg curls(?): 2 sets
calf raises: 2 sets
upperback (?): 3 sets
lower back: 2 sets
biceps:5 sets
crunches:5 sets

I dunno the names of all the exercises in english sorry. Plus I started working out legs and back not too long ago and im still getting good results with this few sets (compared to the upper body muscles)

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

listening and learning from people who have been working out for 20 some years is great.

But realize, if you've only been doing it for a little bit, you won't have the experience to know, this doesn't work, this does and so on.

You can read and learn all you want, until you do it, you won't know.

I usually change my routine up every 10 weeks or so. Sometimes it's not that drastic of a change, sometimes it is.

Sometimes I'll go 10 weeks on one routine, do some crazy routine for 1 or 2 weeks, then take a week off, then start another routine.

it all depends on what works for you.

But if you stay with the same routine, over and over and over, year after year.

What normally happens is, your muscles won't be working as hard because its just like anything else, they become accustomed to do the same thing over and over again.

ANd many people become tired, bored, and burned out doing the same routine at the same time week after week, year after year.

Try to stick with a routine for at least 8 weeks I think. Just to see if it works and how it works on your body.

Trying something new everyweek will most likely get u frustrated because, Nothing works in a week.

Remember again, people like Ronnie Coleman not only are on insane amounts of substances, they have also been bodybuilding and working out for a very very long time. So they already know what works and doesn't work for them.

I'd recomment flipping up your routines every once in a while though, just so your body doesnt get used to the same thing and your mind doesnt turn working out into just another "task" to complete.

Do any of you incorporate cardio into your workout? I run for 20 minutes on the treadmill every other day and after that I am pretty well beat so I just do simple exercises like shoulder shrugs, calf presses, forearm curls, etc., and save the big stuff for the following day.

I run 6 days a week, along with lifting 3-4 days a week. Most here will say that is too much cardio, but I love running more than I love lifting weights. I usually go for a 4 mile run 4 days a week and do some sprint workouts (HIIT) twice a week on off days of lifting.

depends on what u want to do.

I usually do cardio around 3 times a week and i workout 4-5 times a week, depending on how i feel on that last(5th) day.

I try not to schedule anything on my weekends because things come up.

When i was younger, yeah it didnt' matter. but now with my brother's family, my family, my older parents, my wife's older parents and their families, things come up that might interfere with my workout schedule.

So i try to stick with Mon-Friday before or right after work.

But for cardio, i'll do either a bike or running(kills my knees these days) for around 20-30 minutes three times a week.

I pretty much change exercises/routines when I get board with them. I do change intensity every couple of weeks or so. A couple of weeks heavy, lower reps. A couple lighter, etc. Nothing's written in stone. It just depends on how much I have recovered since the last week.

I too Love cardio. Those of you that do, try taking 2 weeks off and lift heavy. You'll notice a difference in size. Chances are you'll gain some muscle. (Maybe some fat too).

What it comes down to is figure out what stimulates your body to grow. Or not grow.

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
