"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

ok so afterschool, there were a couple kids that i hung out with. so one took my backpack while i was gone and nuggeted it (take everything out, flip it inside out and put everything back again). then, she hid it. and it was sorta of a game for me to find it cause she was like running away and stuff. so then, i grabbed her arm, and she said "hey, don't grab me", and she was serious about it too. what might the problem be here? i thought she was flirting with me???

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

1. It was either a joke on you, meaning they're laughing at you
2. It was just a silly game, flirting.

"Hey, don't grab me" was a test to which you probably should have looked her in the eye with a slow, deep and confident voice, "Then don't take my property."

Next time, think what would James Bond, Dirty Harry, or Indiana Jones do?
