"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'm currently reading the bible and during the first few chapters first of all it says don't ever tell a girl you like them and what not and make like she's not important. So in her mind she will never think "I think he likes me." and probably just move on. Then later on it says "Make them think or show them that you are interested in them because remember when you were in high school and you found out a girl liked you then you started liking her?" So it like contradicts itself there.

Here's my scenario... There's this girl that I know and I like her. I am not showing any interest in her. but of course, I want to be with her. So what do I follow? Do I just go up to her and ask her out point blank? "Hey, lets get together and do something sometime." or do I just ask her for her number first? Because once I make this move it will be obvious to her that *I* like her. I was thinking there is some sort of build-up before I finally ask her so that she STARTS liking me. The way I am thinking is maybe right now she might not have a crush on me but if she were to find out that I like her or I am showing interest in her, then she was start to like me so maybe asking her out right now should wait? I am just confused here.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

lol, i see your fustration. it kinda contriicts itself doesn't it?

The bible is a GUIDE but not the end all be all.

the thing is, you will now when a woman wants you to make a move. natural instincts kick in. then when they do, when you have any inkling that she likes you, don't ASK her to do anything. Don't ASK her for ****. TELL Her you are taking her out. if she says no, **** her. simple as that. it's a numbers game, espically at your age.

BUT I think you have developed a case of Oneitis for this girl.. "i want to be with her".. dude you don't even KNOW her. I am a huge proponent of fixing yourself before hitting the field. Why invest days, months and in some extreme cases (i.e mine) YEARS chasing ONE woman, when you can take some time (like I eventually did) and fix yourself and get ALL the women.

your life isn't going to end if you don't get this girl. Odds are you probably aren't. Tell me this.. why Should she date you? What qualities do you bring to the table that stand out? If you can't come up with legit answers, you need to work on yourself before you end up a confused lost soul

Think of it this way: Always make it obvious that you are attracted to her, but never let her know how much you really like her.

Got it? And when I say "make it obvious", that means make it obvious with action, not by saying it.

To all the people who think the DJ Bible is contradictory, I think that's the whole point! It perfectly mirrors the female nature! That's why some things work on some girls in some locations and at some times. The 'contradictions' are just the variable in any given situation at play.

Bingo. By letting her know you like her through your actions, you desire. By not letting her know how much, you don't come off as needy. In a DJ nutshell, want but don't need.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Bingo.

Convey that you like her by taking her out on dates, being close with her, and talking to her. But never, ever, tell her how you feel about her. Talking about your feelings is for women (or your therapist) :p.

The bible is a qualitative collection of articles by untrained persons. As such, you cannot expect a definitive agreement. In social sciences, a 40% correlation is considered pretty good. Human beings are complicated creatures with variable behavior patterns.

As a result of all this, my goal has not been to determine causality of human behavior. Instead, I have sought to find correlations that are somewhat consistent. It's "if X then (?% chance of) Y" not "If X then Y".

As for the question, there are times when showing interest has been beneficial for me, and there have been times showing interest (too much or the wrong kind) has twarted my efforts. Best solution is to be a really busy guy who is pursuing a number of options at any given moment, that seems to create the right balance.
