"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

i've been here a while, read all the stickies and crap...blah blah.

just a little about me: i'm 16 in summer vacation.

i'm really confused here, girls that seem to like me, dont? two stories, so please bear with me:

so this girl, lets call her samantha (because thats her real name lol) was in one of my classes and she did a lot of **** to show she was into me. during class, she'd look behind her just to smile to me and stuff like that, when i played video games with friends she sometimes stopped by me to say hi. so here we are at an end of the year party and i'm with my friends throwing waterballoons at people. i have one left and i approach her with all her friends around and say some **** about "who wants to get soaked...blahblah" and i peg samantha and make her dripping wet. she then pretends to be mad at me with a big smile on her face. so i walk away and then she walks up to me like 15 minutes later again with the fake mad tone and big smile and she says how she hates me and wont talk to me ever again (obviousbull****) and then we start walking and talking and she says, "how embarassing is it for me to be walking next to the guy i like all wet" so i'm just like heh whatever and then she quickly says, "i'm just kidding" again more bull, she said it fast and quietly as if not wanting me to hear. so we stop walking and i ask her for her number, and she just says i'll give you my SN instead. now i've had her SN all year and she litterally only goes on once a month for a few minutes. so i'm just like fine whatever. i do kinda like her, so should i send her an IM the next time she goes on? or should i just take this as a rejection and move on.

so girl number two, she was in one of my classes but we never talked the entire year once. i got this job at a mall and i saw her walking down the street and she said, "i know you, dont i" and i was like yep, funny thing is, we didnt know each others names. so for the next hour and a half, we just chilled (while i shouldve been working, but my boss is cool so) and she ditched her ride home to be with me. i tell her about my new job and she wants in, so i intro her to my boss and she gets it. the next day we work together for like 6-7 hours and i ask her for her number then. she seems to be into me and stuff like that and i called her 2 days ago (4 days after i got the number) to set up a date and she said she was busy and told me to leave her my number. big mistake i guess, i shoulda just told her i'd call her later....
so its been 2 days and i still havent heard from her.

god damn i'm confused

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Well Samantha maybe lost interest?

Girl #2. She likes feeling in control. Just call her back.

-Don't quote whole things, just do the parts you need. Vincent.

samatha seems to be a weird case, she showed all the right signs, and you probably played it cool, but she didn't give you her number. I think the problem is that you didn't do the aggressive role, and that's what being a man is about, sure you played it cool, but she is probably confused if you have interest in her and as a result her own IL of you is dropping too, im her next time she's online isn't a bad idea, don't im the second time though if she doesn't show enthusiasm or interestin the convo, and consider her gone

as for girl number 2, i suggest not calling her back, one of the most important things in early interest development is never appear to be desperate and needy, by showing those signs you give the power of control to the girl, not to mention appearing as a whimp, which is an automatic turn off for girls. Even if things manage to work out, it will absolutely result in a doomed relationship in the future

By calling her twice without her replying your number, you are being desperate for her date. She will call you back if she does like you, if she doesn't, her IL of you probably isn't too high to begin with.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
