Who will win?

Today we see the game between Mexico and Argentina! Mexico has played well, but I dont think they have the firepower to beat Argentina. Argentina is playing some good football and will win this semi.

The final will then see Brazil (missing some big names, Ronaldo, Carlos and Cafu), against a probable Argentina. Will be a classic match if it happens! Even though Brazil is missing some big names, they still have a great great team.

Any thoughts on the tournament so far? Other than Australias defence sucks nearly as much as the Greek attack!

haha. one argentinian defense player gave a number1 cut to a mexican player(had to be substituted). so there was some kind of boxing feeling.


the penalty shootout was very cool! unfortunately mexico did loose. they would have beaten brazil one more time

i think argentinia is gonna win the final. brazil isnt on top of their game.

imo mexico,japan,germany were stronger than expected although brazil and argentinia made it to the final. the best moments were the final minutes of japan-brazil 2-2 when the brazils were ****ting their pants

hahaha, yeah, I sure do. Golf and Tennis also! I have played all 4 competitively for most of my life! Yes I am a sports freak! But boxing is definately my true passion!

I dont agree about the Japan part, Brazil solidly outplayed them IMHO. Deserved to go through. Mexico made it close with Argentina! Closer than I thought, but Im glad Argentina went through! Germany, man, their young defenders make it hard for them to be as much of a powerhouse all over the feild as they used to be, but they definately gave Brazil a LOT of trouble in that first half! They should be ready for WC 2006 though, not to mention, ANOTHER home ground advantage! Hopefully I will make it over to watch a few matches :cheer:

Mexico though, I give them their props, they are now a very strong and competitive football nation!

As for the final? One tip on Argentina? Requelme (however you spell it), definately controls this side, and adds some definate firepower to them! His corners are picture perfect, set peices are great, and he has some great passing and awareness to boot!

Hopefully Ronald Dinho can pull off something spectacular! He always tries! Reminds me of the Ronaldo of old, back in the later part of the mid 90s! I say Brazil wins on penalties! With a final score of 2-2.

yes, the german defense is young and unexperienced but the problem is only one player(Huth). he almost fvcked it up vs australia and did fvck it up vs brazil, no faults allowed versus the worldchampion.

Where bouts in Germany? I was there a couple of years back, but not for too long, only about a week. I will try remember that, and if I get there, drop you a line! Those German beer halls though man, BAD BAD place to pick up, huh!!
