I was wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge of how to do this: I want to find a software program that will allow me to talk into my computer microphone and allow me to make that a file (such as an mp3) where I could then play it back (for example in iTunes) or burn it onto a CD that I could play anywhere.

In other words I would like to be able to dictate notes and have them recorded on the PC for future playback. Thanks for your help.

Easiest and cheapest is to click Start, then click Run, and type sndrec32, and click Ok.. Other than that Voyetra would do what you want.
