Compliments?

Sup lads.

Ive been with this girl for around a month and a half 'exclusively' and a bit longer than that just dating and the likes.

Whenever im with her for example just out on a date or whatever or when we have sex and the likes, she always compliments me on things (which is fair enough) but my question is this...

after she tells me how hot i am or how much she likes me blah blah she often goes 'you hardly ever compliment me'. This is true since i dont hand out compliments all the time (not sure why, just seems a bit lame to me to compliment your girl constantly...).

Dont get me wrong, i DO compliment her when i feel its appropriate and genuine but what im wondering is, how should i handle this kinda thing when she comes out with it?

It sounds like she's complimenting you because she has low self esteem and expects you to return a compliment so she feels better about herself. Don't give her any more compliments than you think is appropriate.

yeah randalll thats what i was thinking about her as well. I think thats bang on tbh. I dont plan on upping the compliments anyway lol so yeah what im doing at the moment works fine in any case.

DJ Hero, i hadnt heard of that! i actually do indeed do that passively but yeah its cool to see it written down. Shes not complimenting me constantly or being clingy or anything and its not a problem per se so i dont see it as a red flag in this scenario but yeah thats cool.
