"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

The world has become an extremely competitive place. It used to be all about sport and other friendly games, now you compete for EVERYTHING. Society seems to be promoting competition amongst the society, which looks like a bad thing. But being DJ's we can look at it another way. Being better then the competition is a good source of motivation & satisfaction. Not to mention it makes you feel more ALIVE.

Think about it. When someone gives you **** you automatically start thinking of all the possible things you can do to him. But what you dont understand is, if you do something bad to him, he will do something worse, which promotes you to do something worse then that, and i think you get the de-esculating situation here.

I have a better idea - get better then them. If they call you fat, get buff and ripped, watch them as their shallow existance creeps around you begging for acceptance (Trust me, i know this happens for a fact, theres nothing quite as satisfying).

If you think about it, they dont even have to give you **** to compete. Everyone is sizing themselves up against the competition (you) subconciously. Get better then everyone at everything, even though you wont, still try your hardest to do so.

Is it really insecure? Or is it a driving force of motivation. Look at the economy. Competition improves EVERYTHING, that's the whole idea of letting the market control the economy rather then the government, because then businesses have to be really competitive to stay in the market.

They need to make their product better, their customer service better, their method of production better, anything which will help differenciate them from the rest of the businesses. Its competition that ultimately increases competition, creating more jobs, creating better goods & services, & ultimately it increases our living standards.

It's no different in people. Competition drives us to reach our physical, intelectual, mental, & social peeks. Look at it this way: How are you going to differenciate yourself? Theres so many guys out there, you have to become the Virgin of business (not literally of course), start with nothing, build yourself up, and keep on trying.

Competition is definitelly on the rise as well. It's here to stay so you might as well try use it. Nowadays, you compete for EVERYTHING. You compete for jobs, for girls, for promotions, for success, and the list goes on. It's a rough world out there and the only person looking out for you is YOU, so don't let yourself get out-competed.

Competition gives us the motivation to improve. When you see someone with something you dont have, don't whine, just get better. Dont bring them down - bring yourself up instead.

Hope this helped.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

****ing 5stars man

This is one hell of a good attitude to have.

Is it insecure? Well, fact is you SHOULD be insecure about the state you're in if you aren't able to compete with others at something you feel you should be able to compete with.

And you should use this insecurity to become better. People keep saying "oh that guy's so insecure, always thinking about the food he's eating, making sure he gets to the gym to look better". well, what's wrong with that? nothing, it's a good thing

Damn right. One thing to remember, the people that say those things only say it b/c they don't have the willpower and determination to do the same thing.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
