to cut a long story short:

my friend has hooked me up a date and we are going with each other to meet these two girls

he is way more ****Y way more CONFIDENT and way more FUNNY than i am

but he is a nice guy and i have the upper hand when it comes to toying with women he comes across as desperate

i got the edge with looks prehaps but he does often take the p!ss in order to embarass others to make himself look better

do i smile and sit back and relax orr say something

bare in mind this guy is a good friend of mine

OK, a double date. I don't understand the problem. Just make sure to only flirt lightly with his date while concentrating on yours.

Confidence is important. You don't have to talk alot, and be ****y to be confident. You can be the chilled out, having a good time no matter what.. confident type of guy. Hopefully your able to keep up a conversation well enough.

Be an active listener and hopefully you have a sense of humor that you can chime in with witty comments now and then. Its not hard.
