- As women approach menopause they become less and less competitive for male attention because their looks continually decline.
- At menopause, there is no longer a competitive drive for male attention. At this point, women’s strategy and even identity completely shifts. They no longer seek male attention or count on men for resources. Even if they are married, statistically they will outlive their husband. Women become much more independent because they have no choice. Men are no longer as important to women.
