"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Hey, DJ's.

Ran into my still-sort-of oneitis the other night -- I am getting better. I make it a point to keep myself busy and not let my mind wander onto thoughts of her. I am working on meeting new quality women every single day. I still have a fierce thing for my oneitis but it is getting under better control. I will break myself of this.

Anyway, we travel in the same circle somewhat -- lots of mutual friends. I have not seen her in about a month but ran into her last night.

She came running up to me and I smiled and shook my head. She said, "You don't call me anymore, I haven't seen you in forever."

The last time we were supposed to do something together, she canceled and left a message saying that she owes me. I called a few days later to make plans, left her voicemail, and she never called back. I figure that was a NEXT/move on/don't look back point I wound up at. I had not seen her nor spoken with her since she canceled.

I just smiled and said, "I know. Ain't that something?" I made very brief chatter with her (how you doing, what's good) and then excused myself to go about my business and be with my friends. She seemed a bit -- I wouldn't say offended or put off... I guess huffy is the best term.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Yeah I got a comment.

She wont want to relinquish her hold on you.

She'll probably try (really hard) to drag you back in.

And the moment you let you defences down she'll crush your heart again.

Not coz she's evil.

Its just what they do.

The biotch cancelled on you, said she owed you and then didn't return your follow up call. She has no right to get huffy and you don't deserve this bull****.
