Its stupid that Comedy Central did this. No religious belief should be given undeserved protection or "respect" in the public sphere, especially when it interferes with speech rights.

People should not be bullied by extremist Muslims. Its not acceptable for me to give "respect" to any faith-based bullsh!t belief. I can say anything about religion and its constitutionally protected. See the first amendment.

I was appalled when the Danish cartoons of Muhammad caused such an uproar in the Muslim world a few years ago that the entire western media refused to print it, and the cartoonist is still getting death threats (and a few assasination attempts). Dude there was a journalist stabbed to death in the middle of the street, and it seemed like England just shrugged it off like "ehh, they are extremists, what are you gonna do?"

Censorship in the name of religion is DANGEROUS, especially when its censorship in the name of ONE PARTICULAR RELIGION against all others which get no such treatment. Ridiculous. How anyone can even argue against this is amazing.

You can hate it, protest it, boycott it, whatever, but you don't THREATEN DEATH and @$$sholes like Comedy Central certainly shouldn't cave like they did.

Bill Maher did. And notice, he was making fun of every religion without any fear, as if they were kids, and the worst they'd do is walk away mad (which is what happened), but with muslims, he was a lot more careful.

You can't tell me anything that backed by fear of punishment and pain is good, especially in our day and age!

Not really. Tough to directly make fun of Jews when six million were murdered not too long ago.

However, on south park when they can use a fictional character to make fun of them, then it's OK. (and funny).

hehe wen i saw the episode, i thought, censoring it was done on purpose to like make fun of the whole censorship situation hehe, I thought it was funnier, kinda like bleeping out a w

but anyways, i just wanna make it a point that, Im a muslim, and yes I would be offended, but I would never physically attack anyone simply because they offend me. Two wrongs don't make a right, and it makes me sick to see people from my religion who are actually supportign that. I believe that if muslims around the world dont like the episode, simply don't watch it instead of forcing their values onto everyone else, like hello it says in the qur'an to tolerate other ppls belifs too, so technically, they have no right to speak for all of muslims, like me. and like it doesn't say we have to watch every single tv show, so y dont they just not watch it, simple.

I just think that if South Park wanted to do it, they shoudl've done it. I still woudl've watched it, and probably laughed, because its just a show. Its just like wen you watch ppl get roasted on comedy central, they still just take it, and laugh about it.

So ya, don't blame all muslims, cuz like, even if I didn't like south park, which would be imposible, but hypothetically, I would never support violence and threats. The good thing is that Judaism is being exposed for the fraud that it is. The jewish people in Israel are imposters who are not the Israelites according to the Bible. African Americans are the descendants of the tribe of Judah an of the 12 tribes of Israel.
