Since day one, the Rangers have been dominated by males because it takes mental and physical strength that females just don’t have. There are often decisions made in combat in which you have to take the life of a child because they are a threat to your battle buddies – at this point, motherly instinct would kick in and they won’t be able to do it.

I had a friend dismissed from the military because he hit a female soldier in the back of her helmet when she froze and wouldn’t shoot back. Once he snapped her back into duty, she started doing her job but she complained about it. The Army kicked him out even though he saved her life.

I wouldn’t have a problem with female Rangers if the Army didn’t lower the standards – but thanks to the Obama administration, who keeps pushing for this historical moment to happen, standards have been lowered. It’s an injustice to both of these women at the end of the day because, technically, they didn’t earn the Ranger tab.

Here is also a female Marine officer admitting women can’t do special forces:

“Marine Capt. Katie Petronio, writing in the Marine Corps Gazette about Officer Candidate School, states, of candidates who were dropped from training because they were injured or not physically qualified, females were breaking at a much higher rate than males, 14 percent versus 4 percent. The same trends were seen at TBS [The Basic School] in 2011; the attrition rate for females was 13 percent versus 5 percent for males, and 5 percent of females were found not physically qualified compared with 1 percent of males.

We females can train as hard as we like, and we may increase strength, stamina, and fitness. Nevertheless, our increased fitness still will not put us on par with that of the men who are training to their utmost, like men in combat units and the Special Forces. They are the top ten percent of the top ten percent. We also bear too many other risks to be cost effective. No matter how widespread feminism becomes, our bones will always be lighter, more vulnerable to breaks and fractures.

Our aerobic capacity will still be 20 to 40 percent less, and we will still be less able It is not for lack of training. Throughout 2013, the female recruits going through Marine Corps boot camp were being trained to achieve the men’s minimum pull-up standard. They were trained to pass the test, yet 55 percent of them could not make that minimum, according to an Associated Press report. Ninety-nine percent of male recruits can, whether or not they were particularly athletic before shipping off to boot camp.”

Someone should tell that the armed forces are not a social experiment and no matter how many laws they will do the female bodies wont be as strong as the ones of men, you can create sociology but you cant create biology.

Most of all just imagine a woman in the middle of a testosterone filled unit in the desert, half of them will try to game her, the other half try to outperfomr each other to impress her....and if she gets struck I wonder how many will skip the protocols to try to save her to score points.

This is the key.

When things become social experiment training grounds, in my opinion that means they have moved beyond their useful life. You can't really afford to experiment socially unless you're already fat and happy. Think about it, the entities that are into that sort of things are public agencies, government, huge corporations, etc., who have already have their huge money and are on cruise control, and they all eventually fail unless they cut the fat from all the 'experimenting'.

I think what this says, more than anything, is that the military has simply lost its effectiveness. Is that a good thing? I don't know, but it's a natural progression, especially boots on the ground troops. We have technology out the ass, nuclear bombs, etc. We really don't need troops anymore, and for what we use them, anyone can probably do it. This is the only reason gays have survived - because there is no physical process to weed them out.

Nature always wins in the end, though. None of this crap lasts. Unfortunately it may be the complete destruction of the country that ends it.

I don't know if or how much the qualification training was compromised for these two women. I've seen articles that say that standards were and were not 'relaxed'.

For sake of argument, let's say that it wasn't.

If they qualified and completed the training, they meet the specs as Rangers. If they meet the specs and want to serve, that's enough for me.

I dated a woman Israeli tank commander a few years ago. While I never saw her in combat, she knew what she was doing, had the skills, training and attitude and was thus as deadly as she was hot.

When I served, women were decades away from being allowed in combat roles in the U.S. Military. I don't know if I would want to be in a hot zone in a mixed unit. It would be strange. I would think more about what the men would do with regard to the women than I would the women.

They can't, that's the problem, at least when the rubber meets the road. We haven't fought a war like that since 1945 though.

The standard should be the same for specialist operatives... If they can't keep up with current standards, then they get the boot like everyone else. Equality right?

I grew up playing SOCOM so I'm more of a Navy Seal type of guy, do if it ever comes in a time of war that's where I'm going. Currently women are not allowed to become a Navy Seal. I wonder why...

Women are currently not allowed to serve in any special operations force. These women who earned the Ranger tab, that's all they earned. They're still not allowed to actually join the Ranger unit and deploy with them. Women, in all branches, can go through their branch's special operations force's training school, but (for now) can't be assigned to a new unit in the SOF.
