College, no car - date?

Hi everyone, this seems like a cool site, I have been reading stuff for a little while now.

Anyway, I am at college and I don't have a car and there is nothing but college campus in walking distance. I wish I could ask girls out on dates but the only thing I could do would be ask them to go to on-campus movies and performances, and I don't like that idea becaues it doesn't allow for talking. Any advice on this?

Take a cab. Or just meet her out.

Or just ask her to come along to gym, squash game, campus basketball game, go for a walk, come over to your dorm room and watch movie, etc...

Use what you have. If there is a park around campus, take her there on a walk.

What do you do in your freetime? Sit at the college campus and study?

You can share any of your activities with women. Suck her into your own world - just make those dates interesting.

You shouldn't use "dating" in the traditional sense - there is a whole new world called "adventure dates" which open up the way to her heart much faster and more effectively.

No car is no excuse - hell, chances are any girl you're going to meet is going to have a car of her own. If you can't get her to pick you up; bus systems, cabs, friends, and a decent bike can get you where you need to go.

Ask a friend to borrow one, I mean heck , tell him you'll fill up the tank for him (do this before the date).

Taking a cab is going to be a little werid especially if she herself has a car.
