"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Every time I think about college, I can't keep myself happy. I've graduated in 2006, just recently started a business with 2 close friends and a older gentleman who's an international business man who invested in me. He owns 10 clubs/restaurants in Vegas, major cities and around the world and misc businesses.

He has recently invested in my business and I have financial freedom for the next 6 months to get myself up and running. We have a location, office with 4 workstations, bank account, the whole deal. It's serious. It's an internet start-up which were making subscription based web services which has potential to make millions in the next couple of years. It's always going to be a risk devoting a lot of time into these things but the gentleman has belief and is funding my whole operation because of my ideas. We're 3 months into development of our first product and will be launching the business to the public Fall 2007. It's exciting, I feel like it's an amazing opportunity.

Ever since i started taking classes at the college level I've had two unsuccessful semesters @ two different colleges. I can't seem to maintain focus on my academics. I tried going to Community College, and then now I'm here at a small private college. I've already decided that I am not going back to this college and I want something different. I'm laying out my options right now.

I stayed in state which might be a problem. I'm too close to home. I don't know whether I should just move out and take time away from school. All of my closest friends went to colleges hours away.

I've always thought about going far away to a huge school/city such as ASU in Tempe/Phoenix area. I've heard good things about that and it's close to LA, Mexico, and Vegas. I don't know if college is going to be the right thing for me, but then again I haven't "started over" in a new area and lived on campus with a bunch of new students. What do you think?

How important is going to college full time, right out of high school, these days. I have 'once in a lifetime opportunity' business adventure running as well.

As far the success with the females, I've been single for the past 6 months and have been meeting a lot of new chicks lately, I've been hooking up, but I always end up seeing similar people or people i've already met. It's hard to move on and change. My location is in a small town. It's hard to go to a public location without running into someone who you would rather not see [ex. An ex, old friends, people you don't want anything to do with]. I'm thinking I'd enjoy a city where you must exchange phone #'s or you won't see that person ever again. With that being said, Here are the options I've been looking into:

Drop out of college, move out of my parents, and pursue my business 100%
Move out of my parents to the closest city, attempt night classes at a local community college, and pursue my business 50%
Risk my business, "start over" and attend college 1000+ miles away in a place like ASU

Any advice is appreciated.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

If making a good deal of money is of importance to you, you'll want to go to college.

Man, don't sweat going to college right away. Make some money off your business and travel and figure out who you are.

Then if the business fails and/or you realize you want to do something different, then go to college in a big city far away from wherever you are.

Wow nice first post, don't listen to this guy... sounds like a troll. No sane person would give advice like that.

Back on topic, I would suggest that you choose the business route. Education is highly overrated, if you're looking for that college experience and living in a dorm or whatever then by all means go ahead but you got a good thing going now with the business, why on earth would you get sidetracked? and most importantly you got somebody put their trust in you and now you want to pursue college? It just doent make any sense to me.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Not so quick. I know four milllionaires, and only one tried to go to college. Each invested all they had in starting a business and it all paid off. Granted going to school will help you excel in obtaining a higher paying job.

Let me tell you about my brother.

He never finished high school and ended up getting a GED. A few years back he managed to start his own business and he now makes about 5 times what I'm making with a college education. HOWEVER, a couple of months ago, his business was challenged. It reallly looked like it was going to go under because of this challenge. How did he take it? HE WAS DEVASTED! His entire life was built upon that business, and if that business goes under, he will lose EVERYTHING and will be forced to work a low-paying job that makes him miserable!

Businesses are great and you have potential to make some serious cash on the right idea. The problem comes that it's not secure. A good percentage of businesses FAIL, and when that happens and when the smoke clears, where will you be?

Think about that before you abandon college entirely. I'm not saying that you need to put your business on the back burner. If you have a great idea, then by all means pursue it! But don't put all your eggs in one basket. You want some kind of options and security in your life that if things get hard and you go under, you have something to fall back on.

Again, I'm not even saying that college is the answer, because it's not always for everyone, but what I AM saying is that you need to spend your time now building a portfolio of skills and getting as broad a range of skills and trades as you can. Even if you take yourself down to part time status and only take a class or two a semester, don't abandon the idea of expanding your options.

Funny, I run an internet business which has been doing well for a few years and moved to Tempe, go to ASU part time (only 1 class per semester is all I can handle - I'm on the 10 year track). It's great out here... there are more chicks than you can handle... move out here! You can go to college anytime you want, but the window of opportunity is always small!

Trust me, I know it SEEMS that way, but the realtiy of the situation is that that the older you get, the less apt you are to go to college.

A little thing called "life" tends to get in the way and makes it increasingly difficult the older you get. I'm 25, and I have a bachelor's degree. I am planning on going back to school, but I'm telling you, it's not going to be an easy road for me. In fact, it's going to take a LOT of planning and dedication for me to pull it off.

Would've been much easier had I just stuck things out when I was in school and got my Masters THEN, before the responsibilities of life started getting piled on top of me.

Don't neglect the idea of college or training in other areas just to chase after some pipe dream. Don't neglect your dreams either, but don't think that you can totally neglect college and then pick it up later, because it gets harder to go back. Trust me.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I would ammend that statement to - you can go to college anytime you want if you don't have a family to support, etc., or whatever responsibilities Vypros has. I'm 25 as well with not much college under my belt, but it is no problem, and I can see myself going for awhile since nothing is really tying me down. Again, I only do choose to take a class or so per semester since it is not my main focus. Most of the guys in the office building I'm at work for themselves as well.

college is fun times and great for screwing off, banging chicks, and making good friends. If you're serious about making money in life..and by money I mean big money and working for yourself you don't need to go to college. If you want a more traditional job working for someone else you need to go to college. I loved college and am in med. school of all things right now. I have a company on the side that is growing and just last year got me low low 6 figure income so I'm toying with dropping out of med school and seriously persuing it. Sounds like you've had some time since hs ended so I'd say seriously devote the next 14/15 months to this business and see where you're at. If not then go to college, join a frat to meet people fast since you missed out on the freshmen year experience and have a good time.
