"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

ok soi have a little story to tell you if you guys have time i want to know what went wrong.. OK well i saw a girl who glanced at me so i went over by the bar and talked to her i said hey whats going on? and she goees nothing and i got her name and told her save a dance for me for later... so about an hour later i see her on the dance floor i go up and dance with her in the backgrind.. then we go through about 2 or three songs and SHE turns around into a front grind. so my next question was alright now i want to make out with her. she looked me in the eyes like about 2 or 3 times in the 2 songs but only for like a couple seconds at most.. now i never put a move on and she told me she had to leave so she wnet away and i saw her again that night with some other guy.. i dont reallly care about the girl i just want to know if i should have kissed her during that span so i dont make the same mistake again thanksss

Yeah. You probably could have gotten a kiss if you were in a front grind. Oh well... just gotta move on to the next one.
